Hot of the heels of the new X-Men movie, a new teenage take on the Marvel's mutants dubbed X-Men: Evolution debuted in fall 2000 on Kids WB, instantly became on the network’s most popular and highet rated shows.

Professor Xavier, Wolverine, Beast and Storm lead Cyclops, Jean Grey, Shadowcat, Rogue, Spyke and Nightcrawler as they deal with the pressure of maintaining peace between mutants and the fearful humans whilst dealing with troubles that comes with thier gifts.

One of Marvel's most critically acclaimed cartoons, X-Men: Evolution was cancelled after 4 seasons in the Winter of 2003, falling to the notorious 52 episode rule. The first three seasons were later reran to great ratings on Cartoon Network, and the first two seasons are now available on DVD.

The Marvel Animation Age highly recommends X-Men: Beyond Evolution as an alternative to our own X-Men: Evolution site.
