Mini-Review by Rick Jones

Captain America and Spider-Man have probably been my favorite Marvel heroes since I was about five, so I guess I always go into their animated team-ups with high expectations. I always get a little let down as well, and it looks as though I am again. I thought the first part of the episode that centered around the kids being schooled by Cap was great but once the main plot kicked in, it just felt as though things were getting sloppy. Would Doctor Doom really have been crazy enough to blow his diplomatic status and his evil schemes by callously firing a missile above a city street like that in broad daylight ? I was also a little annoyed by Spidey's antics (which doesn't usually happen). Maybe it was due to the actual situation he was in because I kept thinking, "Stop embarrassing yourself in front of Cap." Overall, I did enjoy myself and I thought the voice acting was good but I still wish that the Cap/Spidey team-up against Dr. Doom episode had a little more going for it.

If I'm allowed one more quibble though, it would have to be Aunt May apparently shopping for groceries in Downtown Manhattan, especially when they live in Queens.
