Partner to Venom, he and Carnage attempted to use the synoptic to rule over Counter Earth. Still a blood thirsty, Carnage crossed paths with Spider-Man several times, each time resulting in failure.
Venom and Carnage were eventually separate from their symbiotes thank to the High Evolutionary, and the synoptic’s back up plan kicked in.
