Hammerhead was Silvermane's right hand man until he was fired for continually botching jobs. In an attempt to annoy Silvermane, he pleaded Wilson Fisk, The Kingpin for work.

An operation turned an ordinary thug into a dangerous one. Replacing most of his skull with adamantium, Hammerhead was always known for using his head, especially as a battering ram.
