Dormammu is a being of immense evil, confided to his own lifeless dimension. He and his assistant Baron Mordo have made it their mission in life to bring him into our reality, but Spider-Man, with the help of Dr. Strange and Wong, stopped him.

He later tried to come into our world, and reunited Eddie Brock with his symbiote and created Carnage, before Spidey and Iron Man sent him, Venom and Carnage back into Dormammu's home world.
