Cyclops was the first student at Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. Along with the other X-Men, Cyclops was taught how to use his powers, in hopes it would benefit the X-Men's dream of peace between humans and mutants.

Cyclops is the leader of the X-Men, and must make most of the brutal decisions for the team. His eyes are constantly emitting a powerful energy blast, so he must wear a ruby quartz visor in order to his friends.
