The most intelligent member of the X-Men. Originally full of self-hatred for his mutant condition, a young Dr. McCoy desperately searched for a cure to his 'disease'. He developed a serum that he thought would cure him, but it wasn't to be. The serum only worsened his condition and turned him in a hairy blue freak.
