Disney XD has provided Marvel Animation Age with episode loglines and details for the new July 2012 installments of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Ultimate Spider-Man.

Episode loglines for new installments of Ultimate Spider-Man and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes airing July 2012 have been provided to Marvel Animation Age by Disney XD. New episodes of both series are airing during the entire month of July 2012 as part of the Marvel Universe programming block on Disney XD.

July 1st, 2012 at 11:30am - 12:00pm (ET/PT) - "Prisoner of War"

After being held prisoner for months by the shape-shifting aliens known as the Skrulls, Captain America realizes he must align himself with his enemies in order to break out. Cap must warn the Avengers about the pending alien invasion but did not expect to face the Super-Skrull, in a new episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

July 8th, 2012 at 11:30am - 12:00pm (ET/PT) - "Infiltration"

The shape-shifting aliens known as the Skrulls begin their invasion of Earth, starting with Wakanda, and only Ms. Marvel is there to stop it. Ms. Marvel must now fight enemies who look just like her friends. Meanwhile, Iron Man gets some help in detecting the Skrulls from an unlikely source, in a new episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

July 15th, 2012 at 11:30am - 12:00pm (ET/PT) - "Secret Invasion"

The Avengers reunite to face the full power of the Skrulls as the alien invasion hits Earth. Captain America, Thor and Iron Man lead the charge against an army of Super-Skrulls, whose shape-shifting ability allows them to imitate the powers of any hero on Earth, in a new episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

July 22nd, 2012 at 11:30am - 12:00pm (ET/PT) - "Along Came A Spider..."

The entire city has turned against Captain America in the aftermath of the Skrull invasion. When the Serpent Society attempts to prevent Viper from captivity, New York is put in the crossfire with only Captain America and Spider-Man to save them, in a new episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

July 29th, 2012 at 11:30am - 12:00pm (ET/PT) - "Behold ... The Vision!"

Now that the threat of alien invasion is over, Captain America does his best to restore hope to the world by rallying what is left of the Avengers. Together, the remaining members travel to Wakanda to repair Cap's shield, only to find a mysterious caped figure who plans to take the shield for himself, in a new episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Guest stars for July 2012-debuting episodes include Drake Bell (Ultimate Spider-Man) as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Vanessa Marshall (The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy) as Viper, and Kyle Hebert (Dragon Ball Z) as the Super-Skrull.

Peter and Luke scramble to finish their Science Fair project when they are not busy thwarting the attacks of the Juggernaut, but their science experiment backfires, making an even bigger threat, in a new episode of Ultimate Spider-Man.

Spider-Man is put on a S.H.I.E.L.D. security detail to protect his worst critic, J. Jonah Jameson, from a high tech enemy. But things get personal for Spidey when he must also save Mary Jane from The Beetle, in a new episode of Ultimate Spider-Man.
