Premiering in the fall of 1999, The Avengers: United They Stand featured a futuristic take on Marvel's classic team, with each character having thier own battle armour to help them in protecting the universe from some of the most evil villains on the planet.

Lead by Ant-Man, The Avengers consisted of Hawkeye, The Falcon, Tygra, The Wasp, Scarlet Witch, The Vison and Wonder Man.

The show is generally regarded as the worst Marvel cartoons of all time, and was cancelled due to Marvel's bankruptcy of the late 1990s after only one season.
